Our work in Scotland
Our work in Scotland
We promote and protect equality and work closely with the Scottish Human Rights Commission, with whom we share our human rights remit.
To help make Scotland a fairer place we work to tackle the inequalities, disadvantage and discrimination that are still too common here, whilst ensuring that the Commission’s policy-making in Great Britain also reflects Scotland’s needs.
We take legal action, conduct research and provide information in the Scottish context, as well as advising the Scottish Government and Scottish Parliament on the effect of Scottish legislation.
