This report gives an update on the steps taken by the UK governments to act on recommendations from the Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities to improve the lives of disabled people in the UK.

It notes the progress that has been made by UK governments, as well as the areas where improvement is still needed.

The Committee is an independent body that monitors the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

We worked jointly with the Scottish Human Rights Commission, the Northern Ireland Human Rights Commission and the Equality Commission for Northern Ireland to produce this report for the Committee.

This is part of our wider work on monitoring how the UK government is complying with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
