This report examines the disability pay gap in Great Britain, defined as the difference in average hourly pay between disabled and non-disabled people. It looks at:

  • pay gaps for people with different types of impairments
  • trends in employees and pay
  • the key causes of the disability pay gap

Recommendations for what needs to change to tackle the disability pay gap can be found in our report: Fair opportunities for all: A strategy for reducing pay gaps in Britain.

We have also produced a British Sign Language (BSL) video of the report (YouTube).
