Domestic Abuse (Protection) (Scotland) Bill

The Domestic Abuse Bill aims to increase protection for people at risk of experiencing domestic abuse.

We have highlighted equality issues in our briefing because domestic abuse is a gendered problem, meaning it effects more women than men. We want to make sure the new powers that the Bill gives police and the courts will support survivors.
