The state of play: progress on Premier League clubs' accessibility

Published: 16 May 2018

Last updated: 16 May 2018

This report looks at whether Premier League clubs have met their responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010 to make reasonable adjustments for disabled people.

We looked at what progress had been made by many clubs as a result of our work with them, and the guidance and advice we have provided them with.

Where clubs have fallen short, we set out the actions that they have agreed to take in order to improve.

This project helped us to understand the challenges these clubs faced and to learn from their experiences.

The report makes recommendations to football clubs and other service providers, the Premier League and other sports governing bodies. It shares good practice relevant to other football clubs, other sports and other venues.
