This report looks at the state of civil and political rights in Great Britain, including:

  • progress the UK Government has made since 2015
  • the challenges it still faces, and
  • recommendations to the UK and Welsh governments.

The report has been submitted to the United Nations as part of our work on monitoring the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), the international human rights treaty that focuses on the protection of civil and political rights.
