This toolkit is for those involved in housing and planning in local authorities in Scotland.

It covers:

• the Public Sector Equality Duty
• planning accessible homes
• providing adaptations
• accessible housing registers

It is aimed at elected members, whose influence on council policy, use of budgets and approach to legislative duties can make a huge impact on the provision of accessible housing and support services for disabled people.
