This review looks at how well Britain is meeting its human rights obligations under the European Convention of Human Rights and our own Human Rights Act.

It looks at the rights and freedoms protected in the Convention and to what extent each right is enjoyed by people living in Britain today.

The review also looks at how our laws, institutions and processes support and protect each right.

It follows on from How fair is Britain?, our review of equality and human rights in Great Britain.
