This briefing highlights our concerns about the UK government’s approach to the Universal Periodic Review.
The Universal Periodic Review (UPR) is a process carried out by the United Nations Human Rights Council to review the human rights situation in UN member states.
We set out where further action is required from the UK government in order to fulfil the recommendations made during the UPR process to improve its human rights record.
