We are the independent regulator for equality, human rights and good relations in England, Scotland and Wales.
We were established by the Equality Act 2006 and our sponsor government department is the Government Equalities Office.

We publish our an annual report and accounts each year. This is a requirement, as a public-funded body, but also shows how we have met our objectives and targets in that year.
Transparency
We are committed to publishing details of how we are using public money. This includes details of spending, tenders and contracts issued and salaries.
